Parade of Homes 2018 Winners!
Four homebuilders at Bexley by Newland Communities earned trophies at this year’s Tampa Bay Parade of Homes. Cardel Homes’ St. Lucia model earned a Grand award in the $750,000 - $799,000 category, while Homes by WestBay’s Cypress, The Tangelo by David Weekley and The Brooke by ICI Homes were awarded Silver awards for the $350,000 - $399,000, $550,000 - $599,000 and $650,000 - $699,000 categories.
The one-story St. Lucia features a soaring 12-foot ceiling in the main areas of the 3,336-square-feet home and rustic wood beams are a focal point of the formal dining room. The model offers an open kitchen with eating nook, and a large gathering room which leads to the oversized screened-in lanai for indoor-outdoor entertaining. With four bedrooms, three baths, a bonus room and den, it’s a spacious home for families of all sizes. And don’t forget about the three-car garage, which is great for storage.
The Parade of Homes is an annual event sponsored by the Tampa Bay Builders Association. Homes are judged on criteria including architectural detail, floor plan, master suite, kitchen and overall curb appeal.
Two builders at FishHawk Ranch in Lithia, one of Newland Communities’ four master-planned communities, also earned four awards at this year’s Parade of Homes, including the Grand Diamond award for the overall best model home.
