Spreading Sunshine the Bexley Way
In these troublesome times, community is more important than ever. At Bexley, our community is not just a collection of homes. You’ll find a network of neighbors that truly care for and look out for each other. Here are just a few ways Bexley residents have found to spread a little sunshine - even while social distancing.
Chalk the Walk
At Bexley, many residents are balancing social distancing with time outside by walking our sidewalks and 8 miles of trails. To spread a little cheer, we chalked a little message at The Bexley Club! The idea took off, with many residents decorating their driveways.
Bexley Elementary is known for its A-rating, but the teachers are pretty tops too! Our Bexley teachers decorated their cars and drove through Bexley on parade, waving and honking to the students who are now home from school. We love our teachers!
Physical health is important during this time too. That’s why Fitness 320 has moved their bootcamp sessions to an online platform. Instead of meeting in person, the classmates can all meet online and still get an empowering workout and a bit of social interaction. To join their fit fam, sign up here!
Twisted Sprocket’s Curbside Pickup
If you’re craving a delightful serving of avocado toast from the Twisted Sprocket, don’t despair. Bexley’s own community cafe has created a limited menu with curbside pickup - it even includes a kids’ menu! You can pay over the phone and pick up at The Bexley Club. It’s the easiest way to do dinner! Give them a call at 813-491-4879 to place your order.
From moments big to small, it’s important to stay cheerful and optimistic. We hope our ideas can help you spread a little sunshine. Want more? Try one of these 30 boredom busters or one of 7 ways to get closer to nature.
